A SOLUTIONS MOVEMENT
A solutions movement will have to kick in on a massive scale, with ultimate speed, efficiency, money and energy. You have your own thoughts about possibility—possibility born out of dreams, vision, reflection, inventiveness, and solution thinking. So, that’s what this web site is about — sharing your ideas on Making the Difference Needed.

EVERY PERSON HAS THE CAPABILITY OF MAKING THE DIFFERENCE NEEDED.

No one is perfect. No one has all the answers. But we are going to need each other more than at any time in humanity’s long history. So we need to talk. Every voice and action is important. We not only need to be more responsible personally, we need to influence policy-makers, legislators, and businesses to re-evaluate priorities in alignment with our long term survival and welfare. We shape our systems, and those systems shape us. So, think, reflect and collaborate on these things, and help nudge the shift movement along.

Here are five Life conditions that ought to be addressed by EVERYONE no matter what religion, economic status, political stance, location, race or job. Here are four daunting conditions:

  1. 1.We must learn how to live without fossil fuels, for they WILL run out shortly.                                    • Peak oil

  2. 2.We must learn how to live sustainably before Earth no longer can support life..                  • Sustainability

  3. 3.We must preserve quality of life, i.e. reduce pollution, toxicity and undernourishment.     • Quality of Life

  4. 4.We must abolish wars, (the great DETRACTOR from what we urgently need to accomplish.)      • Ending Wars

  5. 5.We must learn how to serve the larger, sustaining whole, as well as ourselves                           • Taming the ego

“Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, that is the only thing that ever has.”

Margaret Mead

AT STAKE
“We will either survive and thrive together as brothers, or perish together as
 fools.” mlk

Paul Hawkin describes the shift this way:

An awakening, a rising, a revolution, a movement is growing and spreading silently across the world. It has no center, no leader and no central ideology. This is a civil rights movement, a human rights movement, an environmental movement, a democracy movement. A movement of movements – it is the coming world…This movement doesn’t seek power. It seeks to decentralize power. It is conducive to life. It is humanity’s immune response to heal political disease, economic infection and ecological corruption...This Blessed Unrest is in us all.”     (watch)~Paul Hawken, Blessed Unrest

“Law of One” is the original law of creation—the supreme law over all laws in all dimensions. “We are all ONE.” All beings exist intrinsically within and of the One-Source. It is love-based, and belongs to everyone of every creed.

“He who experiences the unity of all Life sees his/her own Self in all beings, and all beings in his/her own Self.” Buddha

For Reflection/Discussion

  1. 1.When do you feel most alive and powerful?

  2. 2.How has aliveness made a difference in your life?

  3. 3.Who do you personally know that vividly exhibits aliveness?

  4. 4.What is your passion for making the world a better place?

ALIVENESS

a transforming experience embraced in the Fall of 1975

“YES, I CHOOSE LIFE –

AND I CHOOSE GROWING,

SENSING MORE FULLY,

FEELING MORE DEEPLY,

LOVING MORE TRULY,

CARING MORE DEARLY,

BEING MORE GRATEFUL,

LAUGHING MORE JOYOUSLY,

AND LIVING MORE SIMPLY.”

Yes, I often fall short,
as does everyone else I’m sure.
But this experience in 1975
still has meaning for me today.

  1. 1.Living authentically and honestly in the present moment runs deep—springing from the core of one’s being.  It runs much deeper than reactionary dysfunctional behavior often acted out unconsciously.

  2. 2.Being “in the flow” or “zone”—of a life-giving energy that guides one in making good choices. One is in the moment, open and aware, nimble and ready to move in any direction.

  3. 3.Being Mindful: being aware and present to the truth in the moment and accepting it without the judgements or mind entrapments that interfere with free choice.

  4. 4.Compassion: no matter the circumstance, freely choosing to do the most loving, fitting and effective thing one can give at the time. Exercising the power of love is fulfilling all God’s commandments. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. We all have the same deep longings and aspirations.

  5. 5.Grateful for what we do have and appreciate; for the hundreds and thousands of people who have had a hand in the fulfilling of what we need, and for life’s sustaining gifts.

  6. 6.Fulfilled:  knowing we’ve done the best we could with the knowledge we had; and now experiencing joy and happiness springing from being all that we can be right now—alive, connected and loving.

  7. 7.Connected: sensing with the heart, mind and soul that we are all connected as interdependent Wholes—each a Whole and part of a larger sustaining Whole.

  8. 8. Service: embracing giving to the world what it sorely needs—love, healing and regeneration—one person, one action, and this moment.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO BRING MORE ALIVENESS INTO YOUR LIFE...

  1. 1.Aliveness is the opposite of feeling inadequate. We’re alive when we dare to be who we are—magnificent and powerful—living whole, fully in the moment with authenticity, sensitivity, compassion, gratitude and mindfulness.

  2. 2.When Joseph Campbell said, “follow your bliss,” he was referring to the state of aliveness where one is paying attention, being open, and “in the flow” or “zone” of making wise, generative choices.

  3. 3.Attraction. Attracting What We Want
Awakening to aliveness, we can decide what it is we really want. And focusing on that, we attract it into our lives.

  4. 4.Mindfulness Affirmation
I feel fully connected to my experience in the here and now.

  5. I accept and embrace all unpleasant experiences.

  6. I see my mistakes and difficulties without judging them.
